Dental Care

Just like us, pets develop plaque buildup on their teeth. We brush, floss, go for regular cleanings and sometimes still manage to have problems with our teeth and gums. What about our pets? They need regular dental care too!

Dental health is a very important part of your pet’s overall health, and dental problems can cause, or be caused by, other health problems. Poor oral health can lead to serious infections that can enter your pet's bloodstream and affect organs such as: the kidneys, liver, lungs, and heart.

Your pet’s teeth and gums should be examined at least once a year to check for early signs of dental disease and to keep your pet’s mouth healthy.

Did you know that by three years of age, most dogs and cats already have signs of dental disease, but the good news is…Dental disease can be preventable!
