This is by far one of the best vets in the area. I love the email and phone call reminders and ease of making appointments. The space is very clean and it's right around the corner from our home. The staff are always professional, friendly and are more like family at this point. When our dog got a deep laceration to her paw pad, AMH took her immediately, assessed her and stitched her up. They were also very patient with our girl after she ripped the cone off 16 times before we came by to pick her up. They fully explained the meds she would be on and our care routine to get her back to full health. In the week after, they redressed her wound a few times and gave her clearance to head back to obedience training.
Since the cone of shame experience, our girl had gotten a bit fearful of going to the vet. I had to take her in for a vaccine (that thankfully was already paid for through their free vaccine for life program) and she refused to set foot inside the place. Having to wrestle with a 56 pound Belgian Malinois when she is dead set on getting away and there is a busy highway nearby is a frightening experience. The ladies at the front desk saw me struggling to get her inside and came outside in the parking lot to give her the shot. It was a level of care that I have never seen, ever and I've owned dogs all my life. I've been to vets in NY, NJ, GA, and FL and never have I experienced such professionalism, genuine love and thoughtfulness regarding the safety of the animal by the vet staff. These men and women at AMH are simply amazing! Thank you all again! - Suzanne B.
